Yin's Yang

Yin’s Yang

I already have a protagonist ready

to be a part of my unwritten tale –

a tale that features a handsome man

with uncertain temper

and true understanding of life –

a man who is ready to move any mountain

for the love of his life

but gets frustrated when he finds himself

stuck on the same mountain

looking here and there

in the hope of a rope

that could help him continue the chain of his life

instead, he finds a fountain

busy in giving way to water

without changing its own place

he learns something from it –

strength of a man lies in perseverance

just like a fountain

which knows its job

So a dreary, dull monument

is given more attention,

and maintains an identity

that compels the flexibility of water

to give up its freedom

for the sake of a fountain.
