About John Loraine
John Loraine, an inspired poet, and writer living in the Northeastern part of the City of Brotherly Love. John began writing poetry back in high school and now also writes short stories and works on his first novel. His poems have been recently selected and published for Austin International Poetry Festival contest and Fredericksburg Literary and Art Review; he also is working on finishing his poetry collection book. His biggest influence has always been Charles Henry Bukowski. John's other favorite writers are Edgar Allan Poe, Ernest Hemingway, John Fante, Stephen King, John Steinbeck, O. Henry, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and the rest of the greatest.
