Words For The Wounded

Words for the Wounded is a charity that works on two levels. It was set up by Margaret Graham, bestselling author with Random House, (www.margaret-graham.com) and two other writers Penny Deacon and Jan Speedie. We provide opportunities for aspiring writers and with 100% of the money raised (we absorb all costs) we help in the recovery of wounded service personnel. This year we are running – again – the Independent Author Book Award for self-published ebook or physical, fiction or non-fiction. It closes on 6th March and winners are announced on the website in June. The prizes are reviews for the top three in Frost Magazine (www.frostmagazine.com) and the opportunity for further publicity with Frost magazine by writing A Day in the Life of the author. Importantly, the competition will be judged by Felicity Trew,
